This month The BP Team chose Madison Avenue Pizza in Dunedin, FL as their restaurant of the month. Head Chef, Sean Ferraro, and his wife, Jackie, have owned Madison Ave for 3 years. Growing up in a family of restaurateurs and having studied restaurant management at Florida State, Sean has amassed nearly 30 years of restauranting experience. He knew that any restaurant of his would maintain the tradition of hands on, high quality food & service to his customers. Sean’s experience has allowed Madison Avenue Pizza to be voted Best of Dunedin two years in a row, and this week they were named for having the Best Pizza in Tampa Bay at the
Best of Bay annual awards. Congratulations to Sean and the team!

You won’t find large freezers and coolers in Madison Avenue Pizza. Everything is made and cooked the old fashioned way, with passion, hardwork and fresh ingredients that are brought in as needed throughout the week.

Crab Rangoon Pizza

Chicken & Waffles Pizza

Most everything on the menu is cooked in a special massive brick oven pizza weighing thousands of pounds. The oven’s bottom retains immense heat allowing for an overall soft pizza with a crispy bottom and crust. This is what makes it true NY Style pizza.

Sean is a Florida born and raised local that grew up in Pinellas County and loves a good beer. He personally hand picks his beers to pair nicely with many of the dishes served at Madison Avenue Pizza. If you need a suggestion, just ask your waiter.

Sean spent years using his family and friends as guinea pigs for crazy, unique and delicious recipes. One of the specials that actually made the menu is The 5 Borough Wings. This is Bill’s favorite appetizer, but he always orders the amazing Cheesy Garlic Knots served with marinara sauce. Not only does Madison Avenue have incredible pizza, but they often collaborate with other local chefs to create out of this world entrees. Continuing that passion for unique and exciting twists on traditional foods, every week Madison Avenue Pizza posts their weekly special on Facebook. Make sure to click the link to the left to visit their page and check out their menu.

Fans line up online to see what Sean and his team has invented each week, from pizzafied versions of chicken and waffles to crab rangoon it’s impossible to predict what Madison Ave will come up with next. I can guarantee our team will be back to try whatever Sean comes up with next.
